Simplicity is the short answer, although it is also a cost effective way to have under cabinet lighting. We route a shallow hole into the wall cabinet, this can be on the underside, inside or both. The lights are fitted in the factory and the cable passed through a hole to the service void.

Nothing could be simpler, all the installer needs to do is plug the light cable into the transformer and voilà, we have light. Generally fitting lights in this way is a cost effective alternative as not only is labour saved, but there is no need for light pelmet. Lights can be supplied in standard low voltage or the latest micro processor controlled LED's with life span that's likely to out last us!
